Samsung Galaxy M52 5G launch tipped, likely to be a rebranded Galaxy F52 5G

Highlights

  • Samsung Galaxy M52 5G reportedly in the works.
  • The smartphone could launch as a rebranded Galaxy F52 5G.
  • Samsung Galaxy M52 5G may launch in India to replace the Galaxy M51.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G price and specifications could be announced soon as the phone is reportedly in the pipeline. As per a new report, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy M-series phone soon enough, though an exact launch date is unknown. It is possible that the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G will be a rebranded Galaxy F52 5G, which in itself is a rebranded Galaxy A52 5G. Interestingly, the Galaxy A52 5G is expected to launch in India soon. What is unclear is whether Samsung also plans to launch the Galaxy M52 5G or Galaxy F52 5G in the country.

As per a report by GalaxyClub, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is very much in the works. However, the phone’s model number is not known yet. As per the report, the Galaxy M52 5G will come with features similar to the Galaxy M42 5G, which has already been launched in India. However, the primary camera could be upgraded to Samsung’s 64MP ISOCELL GW3 sensor from the 48MP camera seen on the Galaxy M42 5G.

Samsung’s product lineup is getting a little confusing and hard to keep a track of. The company has been launching similar devices across the Galaxy M, Galaxy F, and Galaxy A series. To recall, the Galaxy F series was launched in India as a Flipkart-exclusive line. It includes the Galaxy F62 that launched in India in February with the Exynos 9825 chipset and 7,000mAh battery. The same phone was launched as the Galaxy M62 in other markets.

There is reason to believe the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G will launch in India. The company has had success with the Galaxy M series in the country and it recently launched the Galaxy M42 5G at Rs 21,999. The Galaxy M52 5G will succeed the Galaxy M51 that launched in India last year, though it will be interesting to see if Samsung retains the 7,000mAh battery.
